Every year the Ministry of Culture, through the General Directorate for Libraries and Copyright, awards the National Prizes for Translation to Italian and foreign translators and publishers who have contributed to the spread of Italian culture abroad and foreign culture in our country.
The Awards represent a recognition of the cultural and professional value of the activities carried out in the fields of translation and publishing.
The MiC awards eight Prizes In total, divided into four major prizes and four special prizes.
For the year 2024, the applications should be submitted, exclusively in digital format, through the special web application accessible from March 11th – 12 noon (local time) to April 12th – 12 noon (local time) at the following link:
