THE MYSTICS OF THE COSMO mezzosoprano and artistic direction Raffaella Ambrosino, choreographies by Irma Cardano, performed by the ensemble Ivir Danza, choral direction by the maestro Alessandro Tino and recording performance by the Vocal Orchestra Numeri Primi, technical consultancy by MidiWare of Rome for the AdagioSonoro editions.
On this very high musical page of the Neapolitan tradition, the Magnificat by Cristoforo Caresana preserved at the BnF in Paris, we wonder about the human being and his ability to understand the universe. Scientific progress starts from the observation of nature to arrive to defining universal concepts; the spiritual magnificence of the sacred work of Caresana offers us the opportunity to look into the destiny of man by staging a very present performance on the fragility of the human being in front of the greatness of creation.
The concert is available in live streaming as part of the “Estate all’Italiana Festival” initiative – a suggestive tour of the main Italian festivals that project themselves worldwide with some of the shows on their 2020 program – organized thanks to the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of International Cooperation and the ItaliaFestival Association. The initiative will grant to the international public the free access for over two months to a program of very high quality shows, available as an online streaming and as video on demand.
