A 2016 documentary, directed by Ralph Loop. The Birth of Venus and The Spring by Sandro Botticelli, have been consecrating the painter of feminine beauty for centuries. Now, his drawings of The Divine Comedy, long forgotten, brings forth another aspect of the artist; that of the intellectual captivated by Dante’s poetry, and who worked intensely, for ten years, on a particularly enigmatic and certainly exceptional ensemble of drawings.

Duration : 95 minutes, in English with French subtitles.
