The Italian Cultural Institute participates in the 14th edition of the Cabriolet Film Festival, this year dedicated to “Weird” theme. The Cabriolet is an open-air short film festival organized by the Association Laboratoire d'Art, in June on the St. Nicholas Stairs in the traditional district of Gemmayzeh in Beirut.
During the Festival, the following 7 shorts by young debutants directors, Italian as well as foreigners who have studied in Italy, will be screened:
June 3rd:
- “How to save your darling” by Leopoldo Caggiano, 6 min. – Fiction - Italy
- “Pianura Innocente” (Innocent Land) by Francesco Bolognesi, Michele Cardano, 9 min. – Fiction Italy
June 4th:
- “Sunshine” by Martino, 7 min. – Fiction - Italy
- “Office Kingdom” by Salvatore Centoducati, Ruben Pirito Giulio De Toma, Eleonora Bertolucci, 6 min. – Animation - Italy
- “His name was Cargo” by Marco Signoretti, 17 min. – Documentary - Italy
- “Giuliano is jealous” by Manuel Zicarelli, 4 min. – Fiction - Italy
June 5th:
- “Holy Son” by Aliosha Massine, 20 min. – Fiction - Italy
- “Shero” by Claudio Casale, 14 min. – Documentary - Italy
