On Tuesday, 9 September 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the launch event of the Second Edition of the “Italian Sports Day Worldwide” will be held at Villa Madama. This thematic initiative aims to highlight Italian excellence in the field of sports around the world.
The event will feature speeches by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, and the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi. Also attending will be the President of CONI, Luciano Buonfiglio, and the President of CIP, Marco Giunio De Sanctis.
In anticipation of the Milan-Cortina Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Mediterranean Games, both scheduled for 2026, this year’s edition will focus on sports disciplines linked to the mountains and the sea, told through the voices of athletes and champions.
