The General Directorate for Antiquities of Lebanon (DGA), in association with the National Council of Museums (CNM), the Lebanese University (UL) and the French Institute of the Middle East (Ifpo) are organizing an international colloquium on Hellenistic and Roman terra cotta figurines from Lebanon, whether kept in the country or exhibited in different foreign museums. The communications will deal also on new material recently excavated in Beirut, Sidon and Tyre.
The IIC participates to the event with two Italians scholars, Ida Oggiano from the CNRS of Rome and Marianna Castiglione from the University of Calabria.
