The Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Embassy in Lebanon are sponsoring Rossini’s “Stabat Mater”, a masterpiece of sacred music, organized in collaboration with the prestigious Baalbeck Festival. The concert – featuring Joyce El-Khoury (Soprano), Daniela Barcellona (Mezzo), Paolo Fanale (Tenore), Krzysztof Baczyk (Basso), and Toufic Maatouk (Conductor) – will take place in the Bacchus Temple on Friday July 27th. This concert is a Lebanese homage to Rossini within the framework of Anno rossiniano and the celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of his death.
