XIX Edition of the Italian Language Week in the World, dedicated to the theme “Italian on stage”
Canzoni Ambasciatrici d’Italia is an international survey led in more than 80 countries by the Professor Fabio Caon, from University Ca’ Foscari (Venice), in collaboration with Società Dante Alighieri and the publishing company “Alma”. The survey focuses on the most famous Italian songs in the world and the collected data will be used to create some flash cards in order to learn Italian through music.
During this lesson-concert, the survey’s data will be presented and some of the most famous Italian songs will be played.
The concert will also see the participation of Maestro Francesco Sartori (author of “Con te partiro” sung by Andrea Bocelli, and of “Aria” sung by Gianna Nannini) and of the tenor Vittorio Zamboni, besides a music band of four professional Italian musicians.
