“Mediterranea” – hosted at NABU Museum from 23rd June to 23rd July – is an exhibition that recounts the history, the beauty, the peoples, and the myths of this “liquid continent”.
In partnership with Med-Or Foundation, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organizing its circulation abroad starting from Lebanon, which will be the first Country to host it.
The exhibition shows – through satellite images, maps, photos, videos and stunning site-specific installations – the long and complex story of the Mediterranean, including the conflicts and dangers which jeopardize it today.
This innovative and unique exhibition is based on images acquired, only for this project, by the most advanced space technology in use at the Italian Space Agency, the European Space Agency and Telespazio/e-Geos.
Registration to the exhibition’s opening is mandatory.
