It is the brainchild of Stefano Maurizi, who developed it by working alongside two great international musicians, Luciano Biondini (Italy) and Mohamed Abozekry (Egypt). Stefano Maurizi, who has Lebanese origins, has been inspired by the sonorities and rhythms emanating from the Middle Eastern and the Mediterranean traditions. The project brings into relief the fact that the history of the Mediterranean sea is the history of a constant interaction of cultures which have developed many traits in common as a result of exchanges and dialogues in many fields.
