Installation “Shooting Stars”

The installation is exhibited within the Biennial of Contemporary Art – Universal Data of the MACAM-Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Alita (Byblos)

“Shooting Star” is a sound project, created by the artist’s collective Antonello Ghezzi in collaboration with the National Institute for Astrophysics and specifically the Radio Telescope in Medicina (Bo). Thanks to the Astronomic Research Centre, it will be possible to listen live the sounds of shooting stars and to make a wish: meteorites are many and this project reminds us that it is always the moment to dream.

This constant live streaming makes real the opportunity to create a connection with the cosmos and to live a sensational experience thanks to simply but deep moments.

Antonello Ghezzi is an artistic collective comprised of Nadia Antonello and Paolo Ghezzi and based in Bologna. Through their projects, often created in collaboration with scientists, they always try to bring the contemporary art in all aspects of daily life.
