SCHOLARSHIPS MAECI-ACADEMY OF ARTS AND CRAFTS TEATRO ALLA SCALA OF MILANO

The MAECI-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has started many years ago a fruitful and appreciated collaboration relationship with the Academy of Arts and Crafts Teatro alla Scala. The institution, which plays a primary role in the live performance training sector, has always pursued a policy of international openness, which is also realized through the enrolment of students from all over the world. Two distinct types of scholarships will be offered for the 2021-22 academic year:

1. Specialization Courses in Opera Singing.
For the attendance of the Specialization Courses in Opera Singing, the MAECI offers up to a maximum of 10 scholarships of 9 months each. The scholarships will start January 1st, 2022, with a monthly allowance of € 900.00.

2. Master in Performing Arts Management.
MAECI will grant up to a maximum of 9 scholarships for attending the Master in "Performing Arts Management", which aims to train high-level professionals with managerial and economic skills specific to the live entertainment world.

The call will remain open until September 16th for candidates from non-EU countries and up to October 1st next year for candidates from EU countries. The scholarships will have a duration of 6 months starting January 1st, 2022 and a monthly allowance of € 900.00.

Both holders of the Master’s scholarship and Specialization Course in Opera Singing scholarship will have to independently take out an insurance policy against illnesses and accidents.
