Certification of proficiency in Italian as a foreign language
The Certifications of Italian certify the proficiency in Italian as a foreign language (CILS). They are addressed to all the foreign citizens, people with Italians roots living abroad and the foreign immigrants living in Italy.
No particular qualifications are required to take these exams.
The Italian Cultural Institute organizes the CILS exams at its premises in December and July.
The Italian Cultural Institute receives the public for University applications on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 to 12 am.
