VIIth Edition of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World
"Conviviality, sustainability and innovation: the ingredients of Italian cuisine
for people's health and for the protection of the planet"

The Italian Cultural Institute of Beirut presents 4 documentaries - made by Stefilm as part of the "Food Markets" series - on the markets of Turin, Florence, Palermo and Cagliari.

The first documentary is on the Market of Turin.

At the largest outdoor food market in Europe there is a world to discover. Porta Palazzo with its 1000 stalls is a stronghold of colors and people. Our journey takes us to discover the best cherries, which later become a sublime ice cream, and will amuse us with the flapping geese and their large eggs.

We then focus on the typical winter artichokes, on artisan ricotta and meet a chef who prepares his dishes only with seasonal products.
