The MAECI-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Cultural Institute in Lebanon, in collaboration with the Liban Jazz Association, present a concert by Paolo Fresu and his Trio.
Paolo Fresu is one of the most famous Italian Jazz musicians of our time. The sound of his trumpet is often compared to the legends of jazz, such as Miles Davis and Chet Baker. A globe-trotter artist, he performs over 150 concerts every year and multiplies the collaborations with very singular artists such as Dhafer Youssef, Steffano Di Batista, Omar Sosa or Trilok Gurtu. With their natural elegance and virtuosity, Paolo Fresu and his outstanding trio will perform a medley of Fresu's repertoire, in addition to tribute songs to major Jazz musicians of our time.
