The DILS-PG is a specific certification for the assessment of knowledge and skills in language teaching, essential to carry out effectively and with greater awareness the teaching of Italian to foreigners. It is a qualification related to the teaching of Italian as a second language (L2) and which is taken into account in competitions, selections and job interviews both in Italy and abroad. The DILS-PG certification is divided into two levels.
The DILS-PG – Level I is aimed at both non-Italian mother tongue teachers and Italian mother tongue teachers. It addressed the teachers of Italian who have recently entered the profession or who have an experience limited mostly to levels A1-B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), acquired both abroad and in Italy in organizations, institutions, associations that also operate in the migratory context.
