For the second year, the Italian Cultural Institute of Beirut adheres to the "Pordenonelegge" Literary Festival, which will take place from the 15th to the 19th of September 2021. Many of the events and meetings with the authors will be available, in live streaming or pre-recorded, on the channel Pordenonelegge TV (the 2021 schedule is available at https://bit.ly/38xTp9J).
The pordenonelegge.it project originated in 2000 in the mind of the then president of the Pordenone Chamber of Commerce, Augusto Antonucci, with the aim of promoting the touristic and cultural potential of the city of Pordenone. The project had the immediate support of the Ente Fiera (Fair Association) and all entities and institutions in the area.
Today pordenonelegge.it is the Book Festival with the Authors from the North East of Italy. It has important relationships with other festivals as well as many collaborations with international events, and plays an interesting stage role for famous authors and emerging writers.
