The Italian Cultural Institute in Lebanon and the Municipality of Sarba Nabatieh present the play “The Lebanese people has whistled”, winner of the First Prize in the International Competition “One, no one and a hundred thousand” 2020 in Agrigento. The play will be staged, in Italian language with Arabic subtitles projected on a screen, on the Central Square of Sarba – District of Nabatieh, on June 19, 2021 at 8:15 pm.
The protagonists are all young students of Italian language who wanted to represent the social and economic hardship of their country, through the transposition of the novel by Luigi Pirandello "The train has whistled". Direction by Ali Bitar and general supervision by Mona Rizk.
