On March 25, the whole world – through the Italian Cultural Institutes and the Italian Consulates - celebrates the Dantedì, Dante's day. This year we celebrate it with a tribute to the Supreme Poet which is also the preview of a new initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Dolente Bellezza [Sorrowful beauty] by Roberto Recchioni (produced by Direct 2 Brain), an animated and fiery representation of Dante's journey into the underworld, is in fact the first piece of Corti d’Autore. The project, which is the result of a public notice by the Farnesina together with @anicasocial, led to the production of six short films that will be presented during the next edition of Fare Cinema (14-20 June 2021).
