Since 2010, the National Short Film Center has consecrated the shortest day of the year, December 21st, as the international short film day. The success of the initiative in the following years made the Short Film Day an ideal showcase for all the short films that, during the year, hardly leave the festival circuit.
Therefore, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Center has created a program of recent Italian short films that aims to be a gallery on Italian production.
Due to the ongoing health emergency, the program has been made available online for free, through the circuit of Italian diplomatic missions abroad: Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes.
