On the occasion of the 800 years (1220-2020) from the visit of St. Francis to the Land of the Cedars, the Italian Cultural Institute in Lebanon collaborates with the Custody of the Holy Land and the Embassy of Italy for the presentation of the book "Francis and the Sultan in Art” by Prof. Rosa Giorgi, art historian, translated into Arabic by Dr. Thérèse Francis.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 28th at 5:00 pm at the Convent of the Holy Land in Gemmayzeh, Beirut, and will take place in the presence of the author and the translator, who will speak in Italian and Arabic respectively.
