Belvedere di Civita di Bagnoregio (VT)
The story of the most contemporary and avant-garde Italian music scene of Place To Be starts from the village of Civita di Bagnoregio with the live sets of an electronics champion like Clap! Clap! and the rising star Kety Fusco.
Civita, a hamlet of the municipality of Bagnoregio in the province of Viterbo in Lazio, is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, founded in ancient times by the Etruscans and famous for being defined "The dying city" by the writer Bonaventura Tecchi.
The music represented by the talent of Clap! Clap! – the stage name of the Florentine producer (and ex-rapper) Cristiano Crisci - is the true "world music" of the twenty-first century. Mixing environmental recordings, traditional music and of course ideas from the most contemporary electronic music, Clap! Clap! publishes records (its most recent album, “Liquid Portraits”, was released in June 2020) that have fascinated even a worldwide pillar of songwriting and contamination between genres such as Paul Simon.
Kety Fusco was struck by the sound of the harp at the age of only six and, since then, has become one of the most appreciated and original European interpreters of this instrument. In her hands, the harp becomes a bridge between past and future, interacting with electronic loops and percussion, as perfectly photographed in her first album, "Dazed", released in 2020.
The concert is available starting 7 pm (Italian time) in live streaming on Dice TV (http://bit.ly/PTB_clapclap_ketyfusco), upon registration, and subsequently on demand (from 25/09) on www.italianmusicfestivals.com
