Paolo Frésu is one of the most famous Italian Jazz musicians of our time. The sound of his trumpet is often compared to the legends: Miles Davis and Chet Baker. It is then all legitimate that Paolo Frésu has chosen to pay a tribute to Chet Baker in his latest album: « Tempo di Chet » that was released beginning of 2019.
Paolo Frésu is a globe-trotter artist. He performs over 150 concerts every year and multiplies the collaborations with very singular artists such as Dhafer Youssef, Steffano Di Batista, Omar Sosa or Trilok Gurtu...
Liban Jazz have had the honor to receive Mr. Frésu 10 years ago for an exceptional performance with his Devil Quintet and guests and has now the privilege to present this refine, elegant and virtuous tribute to one of the most sound of Jazz History: Chet Baker.
