Concert “Assolo Mandolin Concert” by Tiziano Palladino and Jihad Al Chemaly

XIX Edition of the Italian Language Week in the World, dedicated to the theme “Italian on stage”

A mandolin concert by the Italian maestro Tiziano Palladino, who will play classical tunes by famous composers, accompanied by the strings of Maestro Jihad Al Chemaly’s oud, in a friendly instrumental dialogue which transcends any frontier.

Tiziano Palladino, mandolin. Born in Campobasso on May 26, 1987, he graduated at the age of 18 from the Conservatoire “N. Piccinni “of Bari and at 21 years old in double bass at the” L. Perosi “Conservatory of Campobasso. In 2012, he graduated in chamber music, with the highest grade. He played in more than 600 concerts in Italy and abroad, in chamber music ensembles and as a soloist. He is constantly appreciated for the versatility, virtuosity and particular sensitivity of each of his exhibitions. He teaches mandolin and bass at the Musical High School “Galanti” in Campobasso.

Jihad Al Chemaly, Oud. Born on October 22, 1977 in Haret Sakher (Lebanon). He graduated from the National Conservatory of Music in Beirut, where he studied with Charbel Rouhana. He represented Lebanon playing his Oud with the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra and toured in 1999 and 2000. He has also participated in numerous international music festivals and events in Lebanon and abroad. He is a teacher of Oud at the National Conservatory of Music of Lebanon.
